An attitude of gratitude

It’s cliche but walking around with gratitude in your heart and on your mind truly changes how interact with the world. I am but human, and I have bad days when this ideal is hard to practice, but I notice the immediate shift when I say it silently or out loud, to the world, to the tree, to the clover, to the bee, to the stranger standing next to me. “Thank you.” I am so thankful that I stuck with my hobby of art, that my hands still allow me to create and communicate my emotions with color and paper, and that you just read all of these words and looked at these images, even if you are not interested in commissioning a plant portrait. You have heard me, seen me, and greeted me today. Thank you!
